Aztec Templo Mayor

This volume examines the Aztec Templo Mayor and Aztec culture more broadly, following a renewed interest in Aztec research sparked by the 1978-1982 excavation of the temple. Drawing together Aztec specialists from different nations and scholastic disciplines in a collaborative effort, the papers collected here provide intriguing insights into the offerings of the Templo Mayor, ritual and the cosmos, and rulership and establish a new framework for understanding Aztec culture.
