Bombing of Pan Am Flight 103

The world mourned the loss of a total of 270 people (259 on the flight and 11 on the ground), 35 of whom were students at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, when Pan Am Flight 103 exploded over Lockerbie, Scotland, in 1988.
