The Pink Book provides detailed estimates of the UK balance of payments for the last 11 years and is one of the UK's key economic statistical series. The current account (trade in goods and services, income and current transfers), capital account, financial account and the international investment position are all covered. The book also includes a chapter on the geographical breakdown of the current account, with explanatory text and definitions. The estimates are consistent with the IMF Balance of Payments Manual (5th Edition).
