Gendered Lives: Intersectional Perspectives

Gendered Lives: Intersectional Perspectives, Seventh Edition, is an interdisciplinary text-reader that provides an introduction to women's and gender studies within a global context by examining the diversity of US women's lives across categories of race-ethnicity, class, sexuality, gender expression, disability, age, and immigration status. Substantial chapter introductions provide statistical information and explanations of key concepts and ideas as a context for the reading selections.
