Tamara: An Erotic Mystery

Tamara has talent. Everyone agrees. Her dreams of becoming a singer are finally becoming a reality, and she is turning heads on stage. But when she suddenly must escape, the fairy tale life she dreams about seems impossible. All she can do is run.

Fleeing in her father's car, she first picks up a hitchhiker who promises to lead her to help but instead leads her into danger. With her wits and her body and nothing else to her name, Tamara faces the hard truths of the streets, where money, sex and drugs take centre stage. Her voice now silenced, Tamara fights to regain a life that matters.

The streets and strip clubs of Ontario in the 1970s feature large in this second volume of Angel May McKay's dark crime series The Pact. No woman is safe from harm, it seems unless she finds allies willing to cross a line in the name of vengeance.
