Uzbekistan's Foreign Policy: The Struggle for Recognition and Self-Reliance under Karimov

This book addresses the foreign policy and the current status of international relations of Uzbekistan. It focuses mainly on continuity, recognition, role theory and the concept of self-reliance. The author argues that the Government of Uzbekistan sought to be recognised as a self-reliant power after independence.
