Release is a debut poetry collection that charts one man's journey through betrayal, loss, and the long aftermath of depression.

Spanning thirty-two poems, the collection moves from the raw wound of institutional injustice and personal abandonment, through the daily reality of living with depression, to tentative and hard-won steps toward healing. Written with unflinching honesty, Release gives voice to experiences rarely spoken aloud - the invisible grief of losses that leave no body, the passive thoughts that are always present, the shame that keeps us silent, and the quiet courage it takes to finally ask for help.

This is not a collection about recovery. It is a collection about surviving - and about the possibility, however distant, of something more.
