A little girl born in Iran has few expectations of doing anything different than what her parents or future husband allow. Iranian women are not encouraged to dream. Dreams are reserved for men. For centuries, the culture of Iran determined who could and could not dream based on gender. Roya Masaebi was born into this culture, and yet something inside of her demanded that her dreams become reality.
