"When my sister took her life, she left me with an open window to her heart."This book tells the story of how my twin sister, and I grew up with many of the same experiences of abuse. While the pain we endured affected us both, the paths we chose were quite different. My sister chose the path that led to suicide. As a result, my path has been given more meaning. Through the insights gleaned from my sister's audio therapy session recordings and written journal entries, and the healing work I have done on my own journey, I am determined to help others begin the healing process that is so important when dealing with their own childhood trauma.

I share our story to shine light on the residual effects of trauma and the collateral damage that surfaces when we fail to understand the cycle of abuse, how it impacts our future, and the lives of those we love.
