Love of a Heavenly Father

What a privilege it is to be called a child of God!

In order to demonstrate how deep His love is for us, God calls us His children. 1 John 3: 1 says, "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!" This thoughtfully written devotion explores the roles of parenting and compares them to the nature of our Heavenly Father. He is our Creator, Protector, Provider, Teacher, Disciplinarian, and He promises a great inheritance to His sons and daughters.

Each chapter examines a different parental function and looks at how our Heavenly Father fills the role perfectly. Chapters are followed by a Psalm of David relating to the topic.
