The last thing Tony noticed before passing out was what looked like red ice cream lying next to little Arianna, he knew it use to be vanilla, and the floating balloon still tied to her wrist, untouched by the flying bullets. Anthony 'Tony" Thornton is a well-respected college student. Kyra Thompson is a beautiful, street-smart girl with a bright future in the modeling industry. Their lives are forever changed on a hot summer day in Boston, when Kyra witnesses a gang-related shooting at the African Pride Festival. Tony gets caught in the crossfire of a shootout between a neighborhood drug dealer and three of his enemies while trying to save the life of a little girl named Arianna. Moved by his heroic and unselfish behavior, Kyra actively pursues Tony, and the two begin to build a relationship. Shortly after they became husband and wife, Tony's luck changes for the better when he becomes the winner of a $5 million dollar lottery ticket, however more money more problems as Kyra, the Angel, Tony thought he had shows her true colors and turns out to be the devil in disguise.
