Some Blood and Heart related Diseases

Heart and blood related diseases are reported to account for millions of deaths globally per year. These diseases are also said to be silent killers because they can be present for several years without any signs or symptoms and then suddenly it happens: Heart failure, heart attack, angina, stroke, or damage to other body organs.

This book tries to raise awareness about some controllable risk factors that contribute to the on-set or escalation of these diseases.

There are some recognizable symptoms that are warning signs and should make one consult a doctor for further tests and diagnosis. There is also the need to modify some of the controllable risk factors by cultivating a generally healthier lifestyle of exercising, eating a nutritious and well-balanced diet, and learning to cope with or reduce life's daily stress.

It is never too late or too early to start protecting the heart and blood vessels.
