Keeping Her Head: First book in the French Frontier series

In Bretagne during the French Revolution, Jazelle l`Heaureau, born of both royal and common blood, is betrothed to Laurent Picard, whom she loathes. The man she loves, Charles Bruneau, the chateau manager, battles customs and new laws to marry her before Picard and save the chateau for her.
