Tyme Paradox

It is an era of paradox. Current events contradict common sense. America is the sole superpower basking in extraordinary wealth and military success. Yet, external attack and internal corruption continue to plague its democracy. Nuclear disaster is looming. Financial fraud is endemic. Individual freedom has eroded. Tragically, President Jerry Ashton suddenly vanishes in a terrorist event.

Paradoxically, two decades later, Ashton's agenda to reverse these trends has taken place. A beautiful, successful young woman, Kathryn Austin, encounters a reclusive, aging author completing the astounding chronicle of Michael Tyme, who played a crucial role in Ashton's disappearance. Embarking on a gripping quest, Kathryn seeks the purpose behind the paradox.

Christian A. Carrington, in his carefully reasoned novel, delves deeply into recent paradoxical, yet troubling trends. America's military success has heightened the probability of nuclear terrorism. Unbridled corporate freedom has reined in the power of the people. Privatization has inadequately met public needs. Media consolidation threatens freedom of expression.

The Tyme Paradox is a brilliantly told, highly original dramatic story, packed with mystery and suspense. A real page-turner, Tyme glimpses the consequences if we fail to act. A captivating read, the story offers perturbing paradoxes and beguiling possibilities for the probing mind.
