Inside the Cubicle

Inside the Cubicle takes you INSIDE the mindset of people at work - inside the decisions they make about food, about meetings, about how they communicate. This book addresses the things everyone inside a cubicle is thinking about, but never really talks about. Workplace humorist and keynote speaker Dave Fleming presents humorous examples of office distractions and challenges that are easily recognizable by anyone who has ever called a cube home. Cube Tips throughout the book provide ideas that can immediately be put into place to improve communication and boost morale in any workplace. You should read this book if any of these statements sounds familiar: When sending an important email with an attachment, you hit the paper clip to attach the file, but the next button you hit is not "send"; you open the attachment to see if it magically changed. You have heard someone wearing a red shirt say, "Guess I missed the memo," when walking into a room of people all dressed in blue. You have dug through the box lunches at an offsite work event looking for one with a chocolate chip cookie (and hoping not to get one with an oatmeal raisin disguised as a chocolate chip).
