Theory of Devolution

The Theory of Devolution warns of a world governed by a tyrannical bureaucracy which, due to it's unmatched power, begins to lose it's grip on reality. Starting in our age and with many chapters progressing centuries into the future, the story follows a civilisation destined to destroy itself.

During these dark times, three people are selected to become sapient AI programs designed to govern Earth. Yet all the power, virtual reality, and sedation in the world can't contain the curiosity of the sapient programs as they begin to question why the world is descending into an apocalypse.
