When their mahjong teacher, Lawrence, dies stark naked on Colette's Carrara marble kitchen bench, Colette calls her mahjong group - Alice, Lydia and Katie - for help.

Reluctantly, they tidy the scene to cover up her affair. It was just an awful accident... right? A sudden heart attack in the heat of the moment?

But when an autopsy reveals otherwise and Colette becomes the prime suspect, the women have only one option: find the murderer.

As the four women dig into Lawrence's life, the police uncover evidence that tells a very different story from the one they're claiming.
