Melbourne based, former corporate executive, Dan Scott, goes to Zimbabwe on a six-month consultancy contract. He hopes his stay will give him inspiration for his novel set in the country of his birth.

Dan and his friends often debated which was the most dangerous African predator: one of the big cats, the hyena, African wild dog, or the crocodile. It turns out they were all wrong.
