Fitting In Isn't Easy

Kayden Morgan had waited all summer for the new school year. She was going to be in third grade, and in Ms. Henderson's room. Michelle was the new girl who everyone made fun of, Kayden felt sorry for Michelle, but what could she do? Kayden and Michelle both soon learn that fitting in isn't easy. I was very impressed with this story. I quickly became involved with the situations both Michelle and Kayden found themselves in and could empathize with each of their predicaments. The underlying message of the story is presented in a highly accessible manner, and the discussion questions are an added bonus. "Fitting In Isn't Easy" is most highly recommended.
