The Hematology atlas and glossary in which this print version is based on was first introduced and integrated into the Hematology course at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Thereafter it became an integral part of the Hematology / Hematopathology course at UC Davis School of Medicine. It has also been integrated into the hematology course curriculum at various medical schools and Clinical laboratory scientist training programs. The online and App versions have received the highest reviews and have been used by students, residents, fellows and practitioners in the United States and abroad with over 200,000 users since its inception. It has also been an American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) recommended suggested reading reference for Hematology certification for Specialists in Hematology and Technologists in Hematology since 2013.
