Boxed in

It is 2'oclock in the morning and Sue is awakened by a noise in the kitchen. She discovers her husband Joe gathering together all the sharp utensils in the house. Overcome by feelings of guilt and anxiety, he has become irrational and cannot stop thinking of the neighbor who has just killed himself. His wife Sue is initially unable to comfort him but eventually gets him to return to bed. The scene questions the source of our security and addresses the fragility of life.
