Lowestoft Within Living Memory

Lowestoft Within Living Memory is a fresh new look at the town's relatively recent history. In a place once famed for its fishing fleet, shipbuilding, and coachworks, we see plethora of photographs of people going about their daily work and at play, as well as stunning images of the changing town which have not been published before. Images of the seaside and fishing fleet, the townscape, and rapid postwar development feature here, as well as the demise of local industry and above all, Lowestoft's people. This is a wonderful new collection of images for locals and visitors to rekindle nostalgic memories of the past.
