Introducing Roseville Pottery

In Introducing Roseville Pottery, the artistry and craftsmanship of the Roseville Pottery Company are explored in depth. This revised and expanded edition includes new research on Roseville shape numbers and terminology, as published in Bassett's Roseville Prices. With over 860 color photographs, the book surveys the many artistic products created between 1890 and 1954. Arranged alphabetically, each pottery line is meticulously researched, dated, and presented with its variations and ware types. Previously undocumented Roseville products, including Early Velmoss, are also identified. Additional sections cover experimental and trial glaze pieces, factory marks, artist signatures, a timeline of Roseville products, and collector guidelines.
