Glenn E. Ludwig writes that Lent has often been called a journey, and what better metaphor to describe that journey than a "walk." We truly "walk to" Jerusalem in this season. But we do not walk alone, for we walk with One who calls us into discipleship.

The author adds that these sermons invite us to walk with Jesus through death to life. The walk is a journey that changes our lives.

The seventeen sermons in this book are based on gospel texts from Luke and John. Sermons follow the Revised Common Episcopal, Lutheran, and Roman Catholic lectionaries.

Glenn E. Ludwig is senior pastor of First Lutheran Church, Elliot Chit, Maryland. He served as chaplain to Susquehanna University, his alma mater, for five years previously. He is the author of three books on youth ministry and has been a keynote speaker at over 100 youth events in the United States and Canada.
