She earned the Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education degree from Roanoke College, Salem, Virginia, and the Master of Arts in Religion degree from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, Columbia, South Carolina. Her ministry specializes in Christian Education and Youth Ministry.
