Let the Children Come and Worship: Little Liturgies for Young Christians

Jesus commanded that we should come to him as little children --
filled with wonder, bold with questions, pure in faith.

Let the Children Come and Worship: Little Liturgies for Young Christians
is a wonderful resource for Sunday school teachers, parents, youth
leaders, children's ministers, pastors, and children to find a worship
service, scripture, song references, lessons, skits, and stories helping
children worship and praise God.

In this collection of twelve liturgies, Judy Gattis Smith not only invites
the young worshiper into a deeper faith with Jesus, but she also
reminds the seasoned worshiper that praise and adoration should be
pure and expectant. Each page reminds us that the idea of entering
into worship shouldn't be reserved for adulthood; rather, worship is
an innate desire given to us by our Creator. Sunday school teachers,
parents, youth leaders, children's ministers, pastors, and children
will all discover that the simple truths within these liturgies reach far
beyond childhood, calling us all back to a pure worship that celebrates
the gift of a Savior.

Judy Gattis Smith and her husband, a retired Methodist minister,
live in Midlothian, Virginia. They have two adult children and four
granddaughters.
