Not Easily Broken

Clarice and Dave Johnson are a married couple struggling to overcome physical trauma, personal disappointments, and unrealized expectations. They also have differing opinions on what it means to be successful and live a meaningful life. Designer-label-conscious Clarice is driven by her quest to climb the social ladder; Dave is satisfied coaching little league and running a janitorial service. But after Clarice is injured in a car accident, the constant presence of her physical therapist Julie creates strife that quickly moves the Johnsons' marriage into crisis mode. Now, Clarice and Dave struggle to find resolution as they learn the importance of promises made and kept--and discover that help sometimes comes from unlikely places.
