Early God late Devil

In his powerful and unflinching memoir, Early God, Late Devil, Rev Paul Maleke chronicles a remarkable journey from the heart of spiritual darkness into the liberating light of Christ.

The book begins by immersing the reader in Maleke's early life, detailing his initiation and esteemed practice as a Sangoma.1 With raw honesty, he describes a world where he sincerely believed he was serving a divine power-the "early god." However, a dramatic and life-altering encounter with Jesus Christ shattered his reality, revealing that the spiritual path he followed was a profound deception.

This transformation from a traditional healer to a born-again believer is only the beginning of the story. Maleke's personal deliverance ignited a new, divine calling: to see the entire church experience the same freedom. Early God, Late Devil passionately details his subsequent ministry and mission to challenge complacency, expose deception within the church, and call for a radical re-alignment to the true headship of Jesus Christ.

This memoir is more than just a testimony; it is a spiritual exposé and a clarion call for revival. It is an essential read for those seeking a deeper understanding of spiritual warfare, the power of deliverance, and the urgent need for the modern church to return to its one true foundation.
