Directory of Scots in the Carolinas, 1680-1830: Consolidated Edition

This consolidated edition combines the two volumes of Mr. Dobson's Directory of Scots in the Carolina, 1680-1830 [GPC, 1986; Clearfield, 2004], with Chapter Four: The Emigrant Trade, from his Scottish Trade with Colonial Charleston, 1683-1783 [Clearfield, 2018]. These elements have now been formed into a single volume with a comprehensive index of names. For these works Mr. Dobson conducted his research mainly in Scotland and in the United States.
