Elizabeth Went West: Poems

Nominated for the McNally Robinson Book of the Year Award (Manitoba Writing and Publishing Awards).
The poems in Elizabeth Went West speak in voices revolving around the lives of women. The title selection is an imagined correspondence among three women: Elizabeth Russell, an 18th-century diarist, the 19th--century Canadian writer Susanna Moodie, and a -present-day poet.
''She really excels at constructing -narrative and views of narrative.''
