Question of Elementary Education in the Third Russian State Duma, 1907-1912

Providing an overview of the Third Duma, this work covers such areas as the committee on public education, legislative work for elementary education, the church and primary education, and nationalities and education. The work is supplemented by numerous tables, on topics including literacy in the Russian Empire in 1897, growth of education in Russia at the end of the 18th century, and total expenditures of the Russian Government and expenditure of the Ministry of Public Instruction (1795-1917).
