John R. Brokhoff, a pastor and eminently successful preacher for more than three decades, is Professor of Emeritus of Homiletics, Emory University, Candler School of Theology, Atlanta. A graduate of Muhlenberg College and the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, Dr. Brokhoff was awarded the Doctor of Divinity Degree from Muhlenberg. He has served parishes in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia.
