Warrendale

Warrendale is a portrait of life of Greasers and their girls in the 1960s, 1970s and early 1980s in Detroit. Their lives were like American Graffiti on acid, they shared everything from cigarettes and booze to probation officers and women. But the one guy that stood out from the rest; the one who was movie-star handsome and just plain wild and crazy, the one who remains a legend to this day for all the wrong reasons, is Van Thomas. If mistakes were accounted for like balances in a checking account, Van Thomas would be overdrawn. He lived life to the extreme, leaving his childhood sweetheart and wife, Taylor Ginetti, and their children to survive his lack of moral compass. Nothing was off limits to Van, including numerous affairs and murder. So what went wrong with Van? Some thought it was Viet Nam, others were sure it was his loving mother and the rest thought it was a combination of both and if Van knew, like all the other secrets the Warrendale Gang kept, he took it to his grave.
