God Seen. Everything Changes.

Millions chase clarity, purpose, and peace-yet anxiety rises, truth feels slippery, and life often feels empty. We work harder, achieve more, consume more, distract ourselves more. Still, something essential is missing.

Before Amazing Grace, John Newton believed he was in control-hardened slave trader, mocker of faith, captain of his own fate. A violent North Atlantic storm shattered the illusion. In desperation he cried out to God, and for the first time he truly saw. He was not sovereign. Life had meaning beyond himself. And once he saw God clearly, everything changed.
Black Holes and Other Works of God invites you into that same transforming encounter.

Part 1-"God Seen. Everything Changes"-explores the personal revolution that occurs when you recognize the Creator-King. Through John Newton's story, Psalm 8, Scripture's kingdom narrative, and the reliability of God's Word, you'll discover how seeing God reorients your identity, security, morality, and future. Anxiety loses its grip. Purpose comes into focus.

Part 2 turns to the science with refreshing accessibility. Follow energy as creation's building block, trace its unbreakable conservation, explore quantum force and motion, and journey through Einstein's relativity-reverse-engineered step by step. The author's Theory of Universal Motion reveals conserved order from quantum scales to cosmic structures. Black holes become stunning evidence of built-in boundaries: Energy-Dominant Singularities, gravitational time dilation stretching toward infinity, and the silent power that declares "no farther" at spacetime's edge.

The physical universe and Scripture display remarkable continuity. The God who said "Let there be light" is the same One whose fingerprints appear in photons, relativity, and event horizons that bend time itself. Science and faith are partners revealing the same wise, sovereign Designer.

You will discover:

  • Why seeing God as Creator dissolves the instability of self-made meaning
  • How modern physics-from light at conception to black holes-points unmistakably to intentional design
  • A fresh, coherent worldview that equips you to face moral confusion, identity struggles, and cultural chaos with confidence
  • The deep security, clarity, and peace that come when you anchor your life in the One who sustains galaxies and offers forgiveness through Christ

This is not ultimately a book about black holes.

It is a book about awakening-about seeing what has always been there.

Because when God is truly seen, everything changes.

About the Author

Mike Grayson is a rare voice who bridges combat, technology, and theology.

A decorated U.S. Army combat veteran, he served in Vietnam with the MACV/CORDS counterinsurgency program. He later contributed to mission-critical systems for satellite communications, signal intelligence (including support for U-2 and SR-71 platforms), and advanced cybersecurity. As President and Chief Software Architect of FTI, his work was recognized at NetWorld/Interop alongside IBM and HP.

Drawn by deeper questions technology could not answer, Mike earned a master's degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. The more he studied quantum physics, relativity, and the elegant order of the universe, the more he saw the profound harmony between science and Scripture.

Black Holes and Other Works of God flows from that lifelong convergence. Mike shows how discoveries in physics illuminate the majesty of the Creator and the personal hope offered through Jesus Christ.

He lives in Texas with his wife Pam. They have four children and nine grandchildren.
