Digging It

This book is offered by the non-profit organization, Urban Farming(TM), and it is a great guide for people who are just starting out or who have been gardening for some time. It makes creating your own garden easy and fun! There are simple directions to guide you and helpful information about how to preserve your crop. There are also instructions on how to use your own produce to make teas and soothing oils. Proceeds from this book will help to support the mission of Urban Farming(TM), supporting and encouraging people to plant gardens to end hunger in our generation. During World War II, nearly 20 million people planted Victory Gardens and they grew almost half of the produce supply in the United States. In 2012, Urban Farming(TM) launched the "Urban Farming 100 Million Families and Friends Global Campaign(TM)," encouraging people to register their gardens and farms on the Urban Farming website (www.urbanfarming.org) and to become a part of the "Urban Farming Global Food Chain(R)."
