Noted photographer Anne Menke has traveled the world on assignment in search of ideal fashion shoot environments for clients including Conde Nast Traveler Elle Esquire GQ Travel & Leisure Vogue and W. In her travels she has often discovered that the environments themselves house the roots and origins of the fashions seen on the runway. with texts by contemporary visionaries along with the author's own introduction and extraordinary images this sensitive insightful work explores the intersection of fashion and culture in the ethnic populations of Asia Latin America Europe Africa and North America.
