Black Hand of God: 2020 (2nd) Edition

As a man floats the Kongo river, his confused thoughts and recollections tell a story of deception, greed, and murder. He describes his truth about one of Africa's greatest heroines, Dona Beatriz Kimpa Vita (the "Black Joan of Arc."). Her sacrifices changed the face of African religion while they helped shape the destiny of American culture, religion, and the Nations's collective persona. It is a story all Americans should know.
