True You Super You: Living True to You is Your Superpower (True You Super You)

AJ is a real-life six-year-old transgender girl who has just started living her life as her true self. At school, she gets bullied and experiences some day-to-day challenges like when she uses the girl's washroom or has to change for gym class by herself, but the love she gets from her family and her special group of friends helps her get through the day.

Her group of friends is also known as The Super You Sparkle Crew. They believe our superpowers come from what makes us unique as individuals combined with the love and support we get and share with others. For AJ having the courage to live her life as a transgender girl and the love and support she gets, gives her her superpowers.

AJ uses her superpowers to give her confidence when mean kids yell at her for using the girl's bathroom, to cheer up her friend Tommy when he gets bullied for being a transgender boy and when a new student feels left out because he's one of the smart kids.

AJ knows she is lucky to be part of the Super You Sparkle Crew because every child should be empowered to live their lives being true to themselves.
