Riobard and the Townsfolk

This is an old tale. One of magic and shadows and fate. And the man who faced them all.

In the diverse little town of Fairdale, folk mostly keep to themselves. That is, except for Riobard, an old gaffer with a heart of gold who never refuses a cry for help.

But these favours begin to prove perilous. Dark mines, enchanted woods, and gods themselves - will Riobard's courage and love for his supportive granddaughter be enough?

And, when it's Riobard who suddenly finds himself in need of aid, will his good deeds be rewarded?

If you like traditional fables, fairy tales, and folklore in the vein of Little Red Riding Hood, or if you've simply ever felt your heart flutter at the words, "Once upon a time," then this story is for you.
