Lux Aeterna

Far beyond the horizon of the world floats a field of ancient debris drifting lonely and forgotten in the dark silence of space. These desolate ruins tell of an ancient story that took place before the eyes of Men beheld the blue skies of Earth. Even now, though all is still and silent as the grave, the voices of the fallen and their cries of battle echo out into the vastness of space and tell their story of both victory and defeat. A battle which shook the very pillars of Heaven and sent rolling thunder throughout the cosmos. Alária it was called, and it shined out into the darkness radiating its glorious light as the fifth in line from the sun along with its celestial brothers. It was the home of Men... until the end. Nothing now remains of its former glory save for a unlikely object, a sword, driven hard into the rock of a lonely asteroid long, long ago. Upon its hilt hangs a small silver leaf from a frail silver chain and together they look out toward the stars. This is the account of that Sword, the men who wielded it against evil, a planet destroyed, and a bridge between worlds.
