In the beginning, God created the universe and pronounced it Tov. We translate this Hebrew word as "good", but it means so much more. It is God's ideal design for all creation-including humanity.
The main casualty of the Fall was the loss of Tov. The intimacy, abundance, and purpose Adam and Eve were created for was replaced with isolation, scarcity, and meaninglessness. Now we all bear the scars of this loss.
Thankfully, Jesus came to redeem our hearts, give us life to the full, and restore what was lost. It's a journey into uncharted terrain that requires a map unlike any other-one not made of paper but from the very heart of God.
