Saabrina: Firebird

The story begins with snow.

Saabrina plays in the rings of a distant planet, ready to start another adventure with Bob. She doesn't know yet what's coming: the ancient weapon the Empire has aimed at everything she loves, the battle that will nearly kill her, the long dream she'll live through before she can find her way home.

The people Saabrina loves most find ways to celebrate and mourn in equal measure, including attending a wedding that spans two worlds.

Funny and sad in the same breath, Firebird is the Saabrina series set in a minor key: major space opera with a bittersweet heart, where the title refers to the ancient weapon, a mythical bird, and perhaps Saabrina herself.
