Herndon Family of Virginia; Volume 2, pt. 2

John G. Herndon traces the history of the Herndon family, from their earliest roots in Virginia to their eventual prominence as landowners and businessmen. Through extensive research and interviews with living Herndon descendants, Herndon paints a clear picture of the family's struggles and triumphs, as well as their contributions to American society. Along the way, he explores broader themes of race, class, and identity that will resonate with readers today. This book is an invaluable contribution to the study of American family history.
