Internet of Things (IoT) is an ecosystem comprised of heterogeneous connected devices that communicate to deliver capabilities making our living, cities, transport, energy, and other areas more intelligent. This book delves into the different cyber-security domains and their challenges due to the massive amount and the heterogeneity of devices.

This book introduces readers to the inherent concepts of IoT. It offers case studies showing how IoT counteracts the cyber-security concerns for domains. It provides suggestions on how to mitigate cyber threats by compiling a catalogue of threats that currently comprise the contemporary threat landscape. It then examines different security measures that can be applied to system installations or operational environment and discusses how these measures may alter the threat exploitability level and/or the level of the technical impact.

Professionals, graduate students, researchers, academicians, and institutions that are interested in acquiring knowledge in the areas of IoT and cyber-security, will find this book of interest.

This book delves into the design and implementation of IoT applications, showing how data analytics, machine learning, and AI enhance IoT efficiency and innovation. With a focus on automation, decision-making, and connectivity, it tackles challenges in various domains including healthcare, agriculture, and industrial automation.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is an interconnection of several devices, networks, technologies, and human resources to achieve a common goal. A variety of IoT-based applications are being used in different sectors and have succeeded in providing huge benefits to the users. As a revolution, IoT overtook the entire global landscape with its presence in almost every sector, including smart cities, smart grid, intelligent transportation, healthcare, education, and so on. This technological revolution also moved to the machines, converting them into intelligent computers that can make real-time decisions and communicate with each other, forming an Internet of Systems/Machines. The use of secure light-weight protocols will help us in developing environment-friendly and energy-efficient IoT systems.

IoT is an emerging and recent area of research, adopted for many applications, and there is a need to investigate further challenges in all aspects of it. This book will provide information on fundamentals, architectures, communication protocols, use of AI, existing applications, and emerging research trends in IoT. It follows a theoretical approach to describe the fundamentals for beginners as well as a practical approach with the implementation of case studies for intermediate and advanced readers. The book will be beneficial for academicians, researchers, developers, and engineers who work in or are interested in fields related to IoT. This book serves as a reference for graduate and postgraduate courses in computer science, computer engineering, and information technology streams.

Supply chain management, often known as SCM, refers to the extensive variety of operations that are required to plan, monitor, and coordinate the movement of a product from its raw materials to its finished state in the most time- and money-efficient manner possible. How the supply chain is managed has an impact not only on the quality of the product and the service but also on the distribution, costs, and overall customer experience. Supply chain management is a massive undertaking that needs firms to reevaluate the method in which they operate their supply chains.

Blockchain, IoT, and AI Technologies for Supply Chain Management discusses the problems and difficulties that the facilitators of the supply chain confront, in addition to the possible solutions to such problems and difficulties. This book will be the only one of its kind to address the impact of COVID-19 on supply chain systems involving different stakeholders such as producers, dealers, and manufacturers and will provide a foundation for future research opportunities that will allow for the unrestricted expansion and prosperity of business. It will serve as a foundation for academics, scientists, and educationists interested in the use of modern technologies in the field of supply chain management, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Blockchain. In addition to those engaged in research, undergraduate and postgraduate students in higher education can also use this publication as a reference book. This book also presents a multifaceted perspective for the general public, including topics such as computer science, the food business, hotel management, fashion, medical, inventory management, and agricultural spheres.
