Indefensible Secrets

A decade-old disappearance. A second investigation. And clues everyone overlooked.
Ten years ago, Warren Clark vanished without a trace. His wrecked car was found in a ravine, and the case was quietly closed. Now, with their new private investigation firm just getting started, Sue and Alan Jaworski are asked by Warren's parents to revisit the case.
Alan, a former police chief, believes the trail has long gone cold--but Sue's instincts tell her there's more to uncover.
With few leads and fading memories, the couple begins retracing Warren's steps--speaking with old friends, revisiting the crash site, and asking the questions no one thought to ask. As long-held assumptions begin to unravel, Sue becomes convinced this was no simple accident.
Someone in Aspen Notch knows what really happened--and they're counting on the truth staying buried.
The seventh book in the Aspen Notch Mystery Series, Indefensible Secrets is a heartfelt cozy mystery with endearing characters and a compelling cold case at its center. Fans of Murder, She Wrote, Betty Rowlands, and the timeless charm of Nancy Drew will feel right at home in Aspen Notch.
