Storm's Shadow: A Legacy Forgotten - Book One

Brennin stands on loyalty, legacy, and the illusion of safety.

When Lord Felix Morgana vanishes in the Western fog, the island loses the one man who kept its alliances, and its enemies at bay. His granddaughter, Thea, becomes the reluctant heir to a town already beginning to crack.

On the night of her name-day celebration, a charming lord from the West arrives with promises of friendship. Moments later, an attack shatters the festivities and exposes a devastating truth: the West is already inside Brennin's walls, hidden behind diplomacy and waiting to strike. Surrounded by watchful eyes, whispers, and enemies who gauge her every weakness, Thea must decide what kind of leader she is willing to become... before someone else makes that choice for her.

Across the harbour, another threat rises. Malik, once the feared commander of the pirate Brethren, never wanted to return to the life he left behind. But loyalty drags him back into a rising storm. With old alliances fracturing and Western influence tightening its grip, Malik becomes the only man who understands how close Brennin is to collapse, and how far its enemies are willing to go.

As rebellion stirs, loyalties break, and power shifts in the shadows, Thea and Malik find themselves on opposite sides of the same deadly game. Brennin's future will be shaped by those who seize power, and those who survive it.

Perfect for readers who love political intrigue, pirate rebellion, morally grey characters, and slow-burn power struggles. A gripping beginning to a series where no alliance is safe, no truth is simple, and every choice has a cost.
