Jethro Jacks

Once a playful and friendly neighbour, Jethro Jacks comes back to school one year with a scrappy attitude and a taste for bullying. His loud voice and biting words push away his classmates, leaving him friendless and misunderstood. But one brave student, an old friend of Jethro's, isn't ready to give up. Can our hero help Jethro find the kindness at his core? Or will Jethro always be known as the schoolyard bully?

With a unique combination of humour, heart, and a magical twist, Jethro Jacks addresses the power of words in a fun, relatable way. Using poetry to craft its narrative, the story encourages children to reflect on the importance of kindness while showing that growth and change are always possible. It reminds us that we can all make a big difference with a few small words.
