Raegan Blu

In the land of Same, everyone thinks the same, dresses the same, and acts the same. Until Raegan Blu is born. This brave, smart, and strong child loves to play games, invent stories, and make a beautiful mess. Her family loves her, but the other people in the land of Same don't know how to be around her. None of them are happy in the way she is and that makes them uncomfortable.

Raegan is faced with a hard decision: to continue to be who she is but have no friends... or to do something radically different. Will Raegan have the courage to face the Council of Wizards and advocate for real change in her land? Or will she stay silent and let the status quo win again?

Raegan Blu is a charming book for first-time readers that teaches the importance of self-confidence, self-acceptance, individuality, and bravery. This early chapter book shows children what they can learn from each other, and reminds us all that the world is a brighter, more colorful place when we're true to our inner selves.
