Cry from the Depths of Silence: Poems by Mohammad Reza Saadi (Kheyrati)

'We need a kind of music to articulate what we feel; and Mohammad Reza's sensitivity as a musician strongly informs his poetry.' TONY BOWLAND

Written in Farsi and presented in English translation, this moving collection of poetry draws on the rich traditions of Persian literature while speaking to contemporary readers across cultures and generations.

Born in Shiraz, Iran, Mohammad Reza Saadi combines the influence of classical Persian poetry with the musical sensibility of the ney, the traditional Persian reed flute. His poems explore universal themes of spirituality, identity, love, loss, and the search for meaning, creating a bridge between ancient wisdom and modern experience.

Lyrical, reflective, and deeply human, these poems invite readers to slow down, listen, and connect with the deeper currents of life. Influenced by the great mystic poets of Persia yet unmistakably his own, Saadi's voice offers a fresh and authentic perspective on the journey of the soul.

Perfect for readers of world poetry, spiritual literature, and translated works, this collection is a celebration of the enduring power of poetry to transcend borders, languages, and time.
