Wherever I Lay My Lute: The Chronicles of the Tristan the Bard

You may call me Tristan, Tristan the Bard.

Know now, why I am held in such regard.

I am a singer, a musician, an inspirational orator.

A romantic, a poet, an unrivalled lover.

I have beguiled gold from a king's coffers.

Many a maiden has proffered finer offers.

Fighting monsters and tyrants hath brought me fame.

There's not a town that knows not my name.

I am sharp of sword, even sharper of wit.

All of this, and humble with it.
